August Trip with daughter turning 16 staying at the Hotel Madison in the 6th.
I have never traveled solo internationally with my daughter (we have 3, she is the middle). I am surprising her for her 16th bday taking her to Paris for a mother daughter trip. We arrive mid morning on her actual bday. Years ago during Covid I won a work trip (points) that I am using and could use some advice about unique experiences or places to visit that a person her age would enjoy. Looking for specific recommendations for thrifting, antique markets, and unique stores that she would find memorable. A few tourist recommendations for hot chocolate and where to go for macrons and a few places for dinner that have great views of the Eiffel Tower would be great. If anyone has stayed in this area and had recent visit with daughters this age and could share something their daughters really enjoyed that would be appreciated. She is an avid reader, loves to eat, and has always wanted to go to Paris. Or if there is a specific tour (I have seen on here where people hire local tour guides for 3-4 hours to get them acclimated to their neighbourhood?!! When they first arrive) if anyone has done this what was your experience? Thanks in advance for helping me plan a trip of a lifetime for both of us.
