Demo lesson advice - 5th grade

I got invited for a second round interview demo lesson for 5th grade. I’m going to do ela and focus on theme. I’m also going to use a novel study as my unit. Anyone have any tips and tricks on house to stand out? I’m not actually teaching the lesson. I am walking the interview team through what I would do.
