Maternal Instinct: 2 Questions that were either left unresolved or I missed.

So, I have watched Maternal Instinct twice now as when I began, I was in the middle of packing a suitcase to return home from a long trip and was only able to half pay attention. The second time was the next day mid-road trip and it filled some gaps I missed the first time.

As both of these were on my phone, I missed a lot of the cut-away written text scenes and am finally sat to watch it on my actual TV all the way through.

However, as I’m midway through, I’m still left with two thoughts/questions that seem unanswered:

1. Did Wade’s mother not confront Taylor/Wade on the repossession and how was she able to squirrel her way out of that without furnishing another vehicle (means of transportation!) for the mother.

2. After chewing out the real estate agents via fake aliases, was that the end of it? There was just no more conversation or discussion about Pecan Grove? Unless I missed it, it’s just never really spoken about again after the last letter from “Shelly Linx” is sent.

(Unrelated but I want to give flowers and a huge shout out to the Women’s Health medical facility that performed the hysterectomy. They had enough foresight to listen to the ultrasound concerns and while they couldn’t violate HIPPA laws, they did everything they could (hello Code Pink) to prevent what their instincts told them was a potentially dangerous situation, protecting patients and their babies. They could have never imagined the outcome but kudos for being prepared and doing everything in their power to prevent disaster!)
