The targeted smear campaign being operated by Ganesh Parajuli
Have you guys been noticing the sudden, aggressive surge of negative and completely fabricated news targeting the Industry Minister lately? If you trace the breadcrumbs back, it smells like a highly coordinated smear campaign, and the whispers in political circles are pointing squarely at one person: Ganesh Parajuli.
So what is actually happening behind the scenes, and the massive conflict of interest driving it?
The Play for the Ministry
Ganesh Parajuli is actively trying to manufacture a scandal big enough to force a cabinet shakeup. The goal? To oust the current Minister of Industry and angle himself directly into that exact ministerial seat. By poisoning the well and making her look “incompetent” through fake or heavily distorted news, he creates a vacuum he intends to fill.
Several OPMCM Secretariat members have cited his involvement in getting certain media channels to start the fake news of replacement of certain three ministers.
The Indian Expo Connection & Corporate Greed
But why this specific ministry, and why right now? Follow the money.
Before getting deep into politics, Ganesh Parajuli built his background in business and entrepreneurship. He owns multiple businesses such as Allo. There is a massive upcoming trade expo in India, and the ministry holds the keys to selecting which businesses get government backing, heavily subsidized stalls, and exclusive international trade partnerships.
Ganesh Parajuli reportedly wants his own corporate entities and those of his close business associates to completely dominate Nepal's participation at this expo.
He wants to try to take over the ministry because if he ever got to do that, he gets to act as both regulator and beneficiary. By abusing the ministry's power, he can:
- Fast-track his own businesses into lucrative international slots.
- Use state resources to promote his personal commercial interests under the guise of "national representation."
- Lock out legitimate, independent Nepali entrepreneurs who actually deserve those expo slots.
Don't take every sensationalized headline at face value right now. The "fake news" being generated by sinister Ganesh Parajuli right now is a calculated political hit job. It's a classic case of trying to clear out the competition to set up a massive conflict-of-interest scheme.
