For example, Eddy showed humility and honesty.

Basically admitting his wrongs and why he admired his older brother so much and lied about him cause he just wanted to like but realized that was wrong and apologized for his actions.

For Edd,it was bravery and he showed that by essentially standing up to Eddy's older brother when he was abusing him despite being outmatched in both age and overall strength and even when his voice quieted down, he didn't run away or stand down.

For Ed, it was overall smarts/cleverness,he was the first and only one to notice the door on Eddy's brother's trailer was loose and came to the conclusion on what to do and that was what saved his friend.

Weirdly good writing for a show this goofy.

Even the Kanker sisters were at their overall best this movie.

Saved the Eds,stopped the other kids from tearing them apart, showed genuine relief/happiness that they were okay ,Marie showing genuine concern/was genuinely upset at Eddy's brother abusing Edd and Lee having to be physically held back from fighting him upon seeing Eddy's brother abusing him.

Like I said, genuinely good writing for a show this overall not so episodic.

Someone said this before but I really like how Each Ed more so gained/showed a quality and trait that they lacked in the show.
