So, my first few days on the new 7.5 dose seem to going better than anticipated. Thank goodness! I seriously struggle with even thinking about food, have no interest to the point it almost makes me feel nauseous to think of eating. Similar to pregnancy issues when something was just repulsive to point of sickness to evn think about. Energy has been insanely improved, so far.

My body doesn’t ache/hurt so quickly as it was. Close to how I felt when first started zep. However, by end of day it’s rather significant. I have my first in person Dr check up tomorrow. Which is why I’m posting. I’ve 3 major concerns to address at appointment, and would love some ideas/advice/suggestions to go in with to discuss with my Dr. Here’s my concerns:

1. How to determine a steady exercise/resistance regimen with my active lifestyle (average 10,000-15,000 steps & 40-95 exercise minutes daily just working)? Particularly to combat strength loss/create strength. 

2. Injection site reactions due to kwikpen or nickel allergy, would going vials improve this? (All needles are made with a small percentage of nickel regardless, so perhaps it’s something about the kwikpen itself as I never have this reaction with any other shots. I keep getting large red, horribly itchy blotches at the site and they last for days) A side effect I’m having a great deal of difficulty living with. It’s truly awful, especially while working in the heat. I’m a construction worker. 

3. How do I calculate my water and electrolytes intake for days I’m working in heat/extreme heat? After doing my shot Friday, had weekend off. Began work week today, felt great at start. By 7hrs into my shift had intense joint/back pain and felt worse then I typically do from a 12hr shift. I follow my protein, eat at a 1500 caloric intake, average 4-6 16oz bottles of water daily. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!
