Application process

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some advice about a Sephora application.

I applied online a little over two weeks ago and received an unsuccessful application email last Thursday. However, on the same day I went into the store and introduced myself to the manager. She was really friendly, asked about my availability, what type of position I'd be interested in, and then mentioned a Skills Party/group interview and asked if I'd like to be invited.

She kept my résumé and said she'd be speaking with recruitment.

It's now Tuesday and I haven't heard anything further. I'm trying not to be pushy, but I'm also really interested in the opportunity and not sure whether I should follow up or keep waiting.

For anyone who works at Sephora or has been through the hiring process, does this sound like a positive sign? How long did it take for you to hear back after being invited to a Skills Party or group interview?
