My (20f) Gf of 3 years is leaving me.

My girlfriend and I have had a great relationship for 3 years. We hardly ever argued and we had the same morals and values. When we first met, I was 19 and she was 17. Our whole relationship she has been absolutely in love with me. The last year or so she was constantly asking when we were going to move in together and when I was going to propose. This is her first real relationship, but not mine. I was her first partner in bed and first serious relationship. Early on in our relationship her father who she really looks up to, had an affair and cheated on her mother, and left my gf and her siblings to go live with another woman. This absolutely devastated my gf, and I was there for her during this time. Throughout our relationship her only nag of me was that I sleep in too late. I work evenings at my job, typically 3-11 or 4-12. and she was constantly asking me to wake up before 2 or 3. I understand this because she wanted to be able to talk to me at work and school, and I missed many opportunities to hangout with her due to me sleeping in. I always told her I would start waking up earlier, but it is a real struggle for me. I worked a few other jobs that were from 8-5 so a more normal schedule but I absolutely could not stand these jobs so I quit them shortly after starting. She was not happy when I quit the second time. It caused a big fight between us. We got past this and our relationship had been doing pretty well. That is up until about a month ago, she decided to move in with her dad at his new house. Since then, she has felt distant from me. Her dad is a heavy alcoholic and she drinks with him and his gf. Her dad also never really liked me from the beginning, as the first time I met him he tried to intimidate me and tried to appear as a perfect loving husband, when in reality he was having an affair. He is a cop who works in a jail so this wasn’t all that surprising. Since she has moved in with him, she has decided to no longer pursue medical school, and instead get a job at the jail with her father and his new gf (she also works there). Since moving there she has cut all communication with her mother. Her mother really likes me and I believe her to be a good woman. I was not supportive of the idea of her working at the jail because I was worried about her safety. She is a small girl and does not like violence at all. Her dad has showed me videos of inmates at the jail attacking him and him beating them up. I made a way bigger deal out of her wanting to work there than I should have. I was mean and almost broke up with her over this decision, before deciding that I would rather be with her working there, then not with her at all. She begged me to give her a chance and I agreed. I think I resented her a little bit for this choice because i felt my feelings were dismissed. So this past weekend my childhood friend was getting married. He only had a limited number of seats available so we weren’t given any +1s. She did not want me to go to this wedding. She said that is an intimate thing for couples. At the time I thought I just wanted to support my friend, but now I think I was trying to get back at her because of my resentment I had built up. I had been drinking at the wedding and I said some things I am not proud of to her and about her father. Turns out her father could hear me on the phone saying these things. This is the only time in our 3 years that I have talked to her that way. I was so upset and I lost my cool. I am not proud of this moment, and I left the wedding went home and sobered up and tried to make things right with her. By then, the damage was done. The day after we were kinda on the edge of being together and broken up. We argued most the day, even though I tried to apologize and own my actions, it wasn’t enough. Then today, she lets me know over text that we should be done. She returned all of our printed photos and jewelry i’ve gotten her, and the clothes she had of mine to my house while I was at work. I have tried to talk to her but she seemed totally done and numb to the situation. I realize that I was wrong and I should have treated her better, but how do women go from being head over heels, to indifferent about someone so quickly? It honestly feels like she has been a different person since her dad is back around. I probably left some things out but this is most the story. Hopefully this isn’t too hard to read since I am typing it while still very upset over losing her. I thought I was going to marry this woman soon. She was so excited for that, and now she won’t even come talk to me in person for closure.
