Why do chip companies put milk in their potato chip flavors that logically shouldn’t have milk?
For example, salt and vinegar chips. Both Lays Kettle Cooked and Pringles put milk in them (buttermilk and lactose for the Lays, lactose for the Pringles), yet that’s a flavor that has nothing to do with any form of dairy product. Same for most barbecue chips, there’s whey in them.
Pringles Honey Mustard? Whey.
Pringles Dill Pickle? Whey and lactose.
Pringles BBQ? Whey.
Lays Sweet Southern Barbecue? Cream, skim milk, cheddar cheese, and whey.
Pringles Texas BBQ Brisket? FUCKING WHEY.
What the hell is going on???
