SteamlessController and SISR alternatives

Hello everyone. As I understand it, we have two main options available to try and use the Steam Controller on Windows 11 outside of Steam: SteamlessController and SISR. I had no luck with the second—I followed all the installation steps, but whenever I open the app after the initial setup, the controller becomes completely unresponsive. I haven't tried SteamlessController yet because it requires Steam to be closed, and that doesn't seem reasonable to me. I dream that one day Valve will allow us to use the controller natively across all Windows 11 applications, but until then, I’ll keep using an Xbox controller to play outside of Steam. ny other suggestions?
