Tired of broken image workflows in Wagtail headless? We made a quick way to avoid it.

Hey guys, just wanted to share something we open-sourced.

Standard Wagtail image handling works fine out of the box, but the moment you go headless, it feels quite limiting. To fix this, we created wagtail-thumbnails. It’s a small, lightweight plugin with a DRF serializer that lets you serve responsive WebP images directly via the API without unnecessary complexity.
