Girls Are Getting Their Period Earlier, THIS IS DANGEROUS (Discussion)

I keep hearing about case after case of young girls, ages 10 to 14 becoming pregnant as a result of rape, most often at the hands of older men. It HORRIFIES me to think that I got my period at 10 years old. I was still playing with dolls, and suddenly my body was capable of carrying a child.

With the sharp rise of extreme anti-abortion laws across the states, it's hard not to see this as something the far right is exploiting to grow the population. When fertility rates are measured (the number of children per woman in the U.S.), girls as young as 15 are included. Globally, that number starts at 10 years old.

There's also been a lot of online discourse framing the decline in teen pregnancy as some kind of "crisis," as if it's a problem that women are choosing to prioritize themselves. But who is actually doing that prioritizing? Grown women. Meanwhile, with the resurgence of conservative rhetoric, girls being discouraged from pursuing higher education, pushed toward marrying right after graduation, and raised to see being a stay-at-home wife as the goal, the message being sent to young girls is unmistakable: the moment they start bleeding, they become targets.

Edit: I have a Theory I also want discussed here, what if our early period's are caused by the hormones/chemicals put on purpose in our foods which (must) be known to cause early puberty in women only? with how much its been shown the upper class partakes in pedophilic behaviors, could this not be an excuse to bring in the subject that a woman is "someone who bleeds" therefor allowing them to take advantage of children?
