What's New @ Tines This Week (June 29 – July 3, 2026)

Here's a quick roundup of everything that dropped this week. Some solid quality-of-life improvements across the platform.

πŸ”‘ Include References in the Credentials API (July 2)

The Get a Credential and List Credentials API endpoints now support an include_references parameter. Set it to true and the response will return the story IDs and action IDs that reference that credential.

Super useful if you're doing credential audits or trying to understand the blast radius before rotating a credential.

πŸ‘₯ New User Read & Manage Tenant Permissions (July 1)

Two new tenant-level permissions have been added for finer-grained user management:

  • USER_READ - View all users in your tenant (email, role, team memberships)
  • USER_MANAGE - Full user management: invite users, add/remove from teams, change roles, update active status

Great news for larger teams who want to delegate user admin without handing over the keys to everything.

βœ… Story Change Control Requirements (June 29)

You can now define requirements that stories must meet before they can be submitted for review. Target specific story attributes like name, description, owners, tags, or event retention - and set an enforcement level:

  • Required β†’ blocks the review request if not met
  • Recommended β†’ surfaces as guidance without blocking

This is a big one for teams running more mature governance workflows. Check out the docs for the full breakdown.

That's it for this week! Let us know in the comments how you're using any of these features.
