Request - Trail Running Shoe Like Saucony Guide 17

I train in the Guide 17 for the past 2 years, has worked well.

I run in a summer XC race series, with very steep, punchy descents and climbs, racing rain or shine. I don't find the Guide 17 to be a great shoe for this, as it doesn't grip well when flying down wet descents, and I have to be very very cautious of footing, as a rolled my ankle last year on mild undulating terrain.

Trail running shoe recommendations that fit in the realm of what I wear now?
