Is Grindr Safe in Mississippi?

I'm going down to Mississippi for work. I don't do a whole lot with guys, on account that I'm somewhere between hetroflexible and pansexual. However, it would be the easiest time in months that I've been able to have fun with a guy. And I've been craving some male attention.

Unfortunately, I also have ADHD, which makes me sensitive to smells and sounds, which can make me quickly turned off. Also, it makes me not quite germaphobic, but I need to build and feel trust with the person first, so ONS are rare. And quick hook ups basically off the table.

So, I'm curious from a safe sex, and also not getting assaulted by some homophobe standpoint. Is Mississippi safe?
