I made a startling discovery.

I was under the assumption that all switch titles had the SWSH/SV nicknaming system where you can give nicknames to OT Pokemon without nicknames once. Its a great QOL update, and it feels nice to give a second life to mons that other ppl have abandoned.

HOWEVER!! BDSP is so faithful that it goes by older gen mechanics, where this isn't possible. So for GO marked Pokemon that are only available in BDSP, there is no way to nickname them! These are:

• Ledyba line
• Taillow line
• Skitty line
• Spinda
• Castform
• Clamperl line

As a Castform fan I'm devastated. A weird edge case? Another BDSP fumble? You decide. Do we just have to wait for Gen10 to add these guys for this to be possible??
