Forgot that I was talking to a man

I was talking to my friends online tonight. The one guy I trusted and shared my personal problems and happy moments with suddenly showed his meanest side, and I'm still in shock. I'm so hurt right now. He kept being mean to me on the voice call in front of everyone. I told him twice to stop, but he still continued.

Damn, I feel so stupid for trusting men. Not just this guy, whom I considered a gentleman, but the majority of the guys I've met on dating apps turned out to be assholes.

Then I had to remind myself that he's a man whose way of regulating his emotions is by taking them out on people, especially the ones closest to him.

I think I'm done dealing with men now. 🙏
