Anyone have experience teaching?

I’m currently looking to study after quitting my bachelor in the first year. I’m most likely not going to study teaching this year but am interested to maybe do so. This year I think I’ll study fashion in evening classes.

I’ve always thought about teaching since I was little. I love learning but I hated school, especially high school (age 12-18). That’s the reason I didn’t want to become a teacher anymore, they always seemed so overworked and drained, a lot of my classmates were difficult and I just realised I couldn’t deal with all the hostility.

Teachers are in very high demand in my country so that’s a plus.

If you’ve ever been any kind of teacher (substitute, kindergarten, etc) how was the pressure? How much work did you have to do, even after hours. Are you able to work less hours? Here schooldays are almost 8 hours, I don’t know how long most teachers work but it seems the full day.
