Help with picking out optimal parts for my use case!!

I'm building my first pc and I've come across some parts that I think will fit my needs. Pc will be used most for gaming, emulating, photo/video editing and in the future maybe some amateur 3d rendering in blender. The current titles I'm playing on my GTX 1070 with an i5-7400 are Fromsoftware games, subnautica, Hitman and a bunch of indie games. I used to play a lot of other games like R6, Sea of Thieves and Escape from Tarkov but my pc can't handle those anymore. Im planing on playing Death stranding, Elden ring, cyberpunk, baldurs gate 3 and much more which this pc probably can handle great.

I don't really care for 4k gaming since I already have invested in a 1080p 240hz monitor and a 1080p plasma tv that does not need upgrading, though maybe in the future this will change but for now im happy with 1080p. I will also maybe, if push comes to shove, use linux instead of windows but not sure yet.

Questions:
So I'm wondering if there's anything else left to optimise regarding the parts in terms of getting cheaper and more economically friendlier for the same performance, I’m prepared to pay about 35000kr (~3200€). Should I wait until the next batch of parts or just buy now (Realistically buying this in November/September since I don't want to go broke)? Will I be able to play older retro titles without performance hits or crashes? Does this build make sense? Is this pc future proof in terms of holding up for at least a couple of years? Also while I'm asking, are there any aesthetically pleasing, non minimalist cases out there that look nice and are not black or white and also doesn’t feature a glas panel. preferably pastel green since my home consists mostly of dark green and wood/brown furniture and maybe if possible can support an optical drive? 

Here's the parts I'm planning on buying. Ignore the 12tb storage since I'm not even sure of getting that one since it's really expensive. That drive will mostly be used to sail the high seas and keep photos/videos/movies) though recommendations are welcome. Also I do prefer if the parts come with no RGB since I really despite it.
