How do i fix geckolib crashing?

So, i wanted to play the verity mod,but when i boot up the game, it just freezes on the loading screen and crashes.
Also, the only time i could actually see the menu, the entire font was glitched to a rectangle symbol thing.
does anyone know how to fix this?
