Running on CachyOS with Faugus Launcher
It's amazing how far Linux has come in gaming. Proton and Faugus Launcher are like a cosmic alignment, super easy to set up, just a couple of clicks and everything runs smoothly.
I remember a long time ago, before Proton was a thing, trying to run Windows games on Wine was a nightmare. Anything Windows related on Linux was a complete headache, so I'm honestly surprised at how smoothly everything went.
I'd been a hardcore Linux user since 2015, then WSL came along and I started using my Linux install less and less, until I just transitioned to pure microslop for gaming and WSL for work, until I got tired again of microslop eating all my RAAAM!. Things have come a long way and I'm back on Linux, for the better.
it feels good to be back!
PD: I keep a dummy Windows 11 partition for online games, I hope one day battleye and most anticheats bring linux support and more games adopt it
