The friend who cyber harrased me is trying to be friends again.

So I use to be really good friends with this person, but she suddenly switched up after becoming closer with the some toxic people, and they were constantly harassing me and stuff, texting me spam calling me. I told them I was at my grandfathers funeral and they didn’t believe me, I then could bring my phone, to scared they would spam call me. The never bullied me, made fun of my boyfriend, made me scared to go school, cry and cut slits in my arm from the stress. She was definitely the worse of the 3. Then I snitched and we had a really long talk in the principals office. People started a rumour about her, she lost her friends became a sad b*tch and I felt nothing for her.
Until she started to get harassed by the same “toxic friends”. Karma? But then she came back to me apologised and shit tried to be friend. I let her cuz I honestly felt bad, but I regret. She’s quite annoying. She’s always with a friend group that don’t really like her. She’s still lying. And over dramatic. But she’s also still getting harrased and she’s also really funny, and nice most of the time.

Is this manipulation or like an actual new character arc?
