Help!!

If someone has been allotted a seat in normal rounds in jac for example mechanical, but he wants to participate in spot round for electrical for example

1. will he have to withdraw his mechanical seat for sitting in spot?

2. if no seat is allotted in spot will his mechanical seat be gone?
