Confessions II feels like a celebration of Madonna’s entire career
Am I the only one who keeps hearing echoes of different Madonna eras throughout *Confessions II*?
Not in a way that makes it feel repetitive; it actually feels like she’s taking the best elements from her past and reinventing them.
For example:
**Bizarre** reminds me of a mix of *Sorry* and *Die Another Day*.
**I Feel So Free** is like a modern version of *Future Lovers.*
**Fragile** gives me strong *Ray of Light* vibes, and so does **The Test**.
**School** sounds like a blend of *Iconic* and *Sex* to me.
**My Sins Are My Savior** feels like a mix of *Erotica*, *Justify My Love*, and *Paradise (Not for Me)*.
It’s like this album is celebrating every era of Madonna while still sounding fresh and new.
Does anyone else hear these connections, or am I completely imagining them? I’d love to know what songs remind you of her previous work.
