Ibps so eligibility

Is csit(computer science and information technology) not eligible for ibps so IT. It's a merger of cs/it.

Few says no.. i recently talked wid one of ibps so qualified candidate he said u are eligible in this case . So can anyone pls verify regarding this Branch specific.
