How to equip Sanguinary Guard and Captains.

I am completely new to playing 40K and never played a game - but I am building my BA army at the moment and reading the rules.

I have 6 Sanguinary Guard to build and wonder how I should equip them. I want to be able to play them in 2 squads of 3 or later maybe 1 of 6.

Also I will build 2 Captains, 1 on foot and 1 with Jumppack - what would be the bost and/or most versatile options to build?
