What is it?: A Cobray M11/NINE pistol or carbine in a ( As far as i know) one of a kind stock. If you’ve seen this style of stock before please let me know.

When was it made?: Based on the gun’s serial number I’m guessing the early 90s.

Features: Bullpup polymer stock ( obviously), folding foregrip, folding charging handle, integrated scope mount plus enough height over bore for you to lend some to your friends, and my personal favorite a “ Thing that goes up” on the buttstock.

Why was it made?: I don’t know the builder, only the seller. Dude had money and loved guns. He had over a dozen uncommon PCCs from the 80s to the mid 2000s, five or six high end M1As including one in a wildcat cartridge, and several Class 3 items including a converted Uzi. This wasn’t a guy trying to make an SKS into an AK courtesy of TAPCO. This guy had the funds to do and make just about anything feasible at the time. Why do I think he made it? It’s a joke. A very well crafted one, but the shoulder support sort of tells you everything you need to know here.

Why did I buy it?: I like weird stuff and I love PCCS. My original plan was to pull it out of that stock and cook up some kind of wire stock to make it look close enough to an original MAC and then slide a fake tube over the barrel. Then eventually radiator hose clamp a shitty old pistol scope onto the tube because a friend has been suggesting that to me for over a decade. You know who you are. However I only made it to pulling the shroud off to record the serial number before I stopped. That polymer is old and pretty fragile. It’ll easily survive me lugging it around to shoot groundhogs in a bean field but I have zero confidence I could get it off without snapping it into a million pieces. And then… It grew on me. Despite being heavy and ungainly with terrible ergonomics it’s accurate, reliable, and a lot of fun. Plus I own a bullpup now. MY friends and I are mostly into milsurps and clones so bullpubs aren't that common. I’ve shot some, a X95 and a VHS. And neither made me willing to fork out the cash for them. This was much cheaper and saves me from having to buy a RDB eventually. And as an added bonus I now have a gun that would fit in perfectly in any number of low budget schlock films.
