Mohamme Dolly
I have fond memories of Muhammad Ali. I don’t know how old I was when I realized that the man named Cassius Clay, who converted to Islam and changed his name, was not “Mohamme Dolly” (with the “Dolly” emphasis on both the first and second syllables instead of the just first syllable like when you usually say the word “dolly”).
His exuberance and affability particularly appealed to me as a child. It’s interesting to me and sentimental learning more about his life and works now.
