In the original novel, I was the villainess, but I skillfully avoided every death flag, staged my own death, and escaped.
I saved the child doomed to die and sacrificed myself so the main characters could live peacefully. Then, I hid away, waiting for my own happy ending. I was happy when I finally heard that the original leads were getting married, but only for a moment. Then, I received news of my mother’s death and returned to my hometown.
That's when the original male lead—my childhood friend and fiancé—said, "If I'd known you'd fall for something as trivial as a funeral notice, I would've sent it out sooner."
The man, whom I thought had married someone else, looked at me with crazy eyes and smiled.
“What’s wrong with you? You were never like this.
"Now, you can't go anywhere."
