Not finding a lot of representation online

Hi, I’ve been completely non ambulant for twenty years roughly, and use a wheelchair full time. I haven’t found many I can relate to online or in person. A lot of the advice given for wheelchair users will be for ambulatory users (such as travel advice, or housing advice for example). In person people also assume I am ambulatory which can be quite upsetting (for example recently at the airport I was asked to stand for security repeatedly, and I had to keep saying I couldn’t). Has anyone had similar experiences or felt the same way?
