Does he like me? 😭

So I've (16F) been liking this guy (16M) for a few months now, well actually it started in the summer of last year but then we both started at the same college and had different timetables so we never really saw each other. Then when I came home on the train with him and his friends (they're my friends also lol), when it was his stop he booped me on the head as I wasn't paying attention and was on my phone and said goodbye. At that point I started to text him again, he is honestly so sweet and polite, better then most guys, we text each other good morning and goodnight also. I make bracelets and he wanted one so obviously I made him one, I haven't had the time to see if he's been wearing it. I even asked one of his friends to see if he's wearing it. That friend has also seen our texts and he says that he thinks he likes me.

Though, the downside is that I rarely see him, like only once a week. So I don't have a lot of opportunities to talk to him. My friends say to me that I should ask him out but I get super anxious and overthink everything. But then again all the signs hes been showing have been positive: He started it but he reacts with a heart on some of my messages which I think is a very bold thing to do especially if he "doesn't like me". He also says "I'm glad" to my feelings e.g. i've said that i'm really excited about something, LIKE HE'S ACTUALLY HAPPY THAT I'M HAPPY YK? Then there's just the other cute stuff like "sleep well" or "you should get an early night" or "don't push yourself too hard" when i'm stressing about work or even the fact that he remembered that I had mentioned Olivia Rodrigo's new album (which is amazing btw) when I asked for ideas for what to put on a bracelet.

BUT, then again its the doubt in my mind that tells me he doesn't like me. Whenever I see him in the corridors I try and smile but he doesn't see me, tbh there could be so many factors on why he didn't realise e.g. I am short and there are lot of people everywhere. Also, I feel like I'm the one who's starting the convos, though he has texted me a few times on his own, I feel like the majority of the time i'm texting him first. Overall, I wait by my phone for him to text me back because he makes me happy when I text him soooo yeahh I'm just a bit stumped and about what to do to move forward if he does like me? 😭
