Is this cancer vaccine claim legitimate science or AI-hype overreach? (would appreciate expert eyes)
I have a CS background, not a bio one, so I can't properly evaluate this myself. A startup (the founder has a cs background) published a report claiming their loval AI tool analyzed public cancer datasets and identified a shared molecular signature across cancers, proposing it as a basis for a universal vaccine with in-silico analysis with percentages attached.
To my untrained eye it looks like a re-description of known biology with added unfalsifiable claims dressed up in dramatic "AGI" language. Am I missing something, or is this the overclaiming it looks like? Is it AI induced psychosis? Happy to share the link in comments if allowed by sub rules.
