Fitness influencers should need to disclose plastic surgery

I like to browse online to find workouts I could be incorporating into my routine and as a woman myself, 90% of what comes up on my feed are women fitness influencers. HOWEVER…. they’ll title their video something like “workouts that gave me a fatty” or whatever term they use for a big butt so I watch their workouts and their butt is giant while the rest of their body looks very slim and not super muscular. At this point I’m confused why when I do the exact same workouts, progressive overload, and protein intake, that my butt looks NOTHING like that. Then I do a little stalking to see if they have some extra method they use and come to find out they got liposuction, a BBL, and sometimes implants.

I wish they’d just save me the hassle and put a disclaimer somewhere that they got plastic surgery so no one gets misled into thinking that heavy hip thrusts and protein shakes are going to give them a BBL, or that a 20 min Pilates workout video they made is going to shrink their waist. Some of us aren’t interested in plastic surgery and it’s annoying to be falsely advertised results that are only possible with surgery or being genetically built that way.
