Prepware? 8083 or Jeppeson for Writtens, Orals, Practicals? (Instructors Unreliable)

In short, all of the instructors at our school recommend different things for testing with the DME and written exams. Some say Prepware isn't trustworthy, some say it is. We're being told to avoid the Jeppesen completely but we're still being lectured with Jeppesen based slides. Often misinformed, too. Extremely confusing. I'm personally most concerned about the writtens, maybe orals.

So, people that have tested out, what did you do? Was Prepware pretty reliable? Haven't been able to talk with any A&Ps attending or already graduated outside of this school in particular.

Currently in Airframe 2. Already passed General written exam.

(wouldn't be making this if it didn't sound like the testing was changing so much from one book to the other; would love the opinions of people that have taken it recently)
