what's the difference between a Doginal and a Bitcoin Ordinal? (Doginal Dogs)
Saw someone ask this and it's a fair question. A Bitcoin Ordinal is data inscribed onto the Bitcoin blockchain. A Doginal is the same idea on Dogecoin, art and data written directly onto the chain. Doginal Dogs is a collection of 10,000 pixel dogs inscribed as Doginals, so it's basically the Dogecoin cousin of the Ordinals concept.
The practical upshot is the same core benefit: the art lives on the blockchain itself rather than on some server that could go down. Different chain, same 'it's actually on-chain' principle. If anyone knows the finer technical differences between the two inscription methods, I'd genuinely like to understand them better.
