I genuinely cannot believe just how bad the touch screens are in these cars (except the 2026 Outback).

I’ve always owned older cars. But very recently I ended up pulling the trigger on the 2026 Outback Premium. Which I absolutely love. nicest car I’ve ever owned. easily the best Outback I’ve ever owned.

However, along the way I test drove several other Subarus. And, one of my friends bought a 2025 Outback XT. I genuinely cannot believe just how bad the touch screens are on the infotainment centers… the original iPod touch was faster and more responsive. And the UI is a clutter mess too. It’s truly a bad experience. I’m shocked Subaru has just let this fly for so long...

The screen in my 2026 Outback is incredible though. Whatever they did there, they need to do for the rest of their lineup.
