Study abroad or summer internship
I'm in a bit of a dilemma because it has been my dream to study abroad, but the school only offers the spring semester abroad, which would end late July, which means I would miss the summer internships back home. This would be my summer going into my senior year, which is a very important summer to get an internship. I just finished my first year, and I will be applying to study abroad programs this fall for my junior year. I'm studying and preparing a lot right now for next summer internships in hopes of getting one, but it's never guaranteed. Is it a good idea to study abroad and fulfill my dream at the cost of decreasing my job prospects for the future? Can I try to get a fall internship that same year to make up for that summer? I can also try studying abroad in the fall at a school not affiliated with mine, but then I'd be worried about not receiving credit, and it's a much longer process. Thanks for the help
