AC recharge question

Question

2011 Honda Odyssey EX-L with 218K miles. AC compressor took a dump due to an oil leak from the spool valve (that also ruined the alternator and had to be replaced as well). We replaced it with a junkyard compressor due to mileage.

We added 4oz of oil and used proper gauges (with high and low lines) to recharge the system with r134a WITHOUT stop leak, but we were a bit short. So we used a small can of r134a WITH stop leak since we had it laying around and only needed a little bit more freon. Everything works and it blows nice and cold.

Here is my question. I'm seeing conflicting reports online about stop leak. Almost everyone is saying DON'T USE EVEN A DROP OF IT. But I've also seen some saying that the more modern stop leaks only react with rubber, not oxygen, so they should be safe. Considering it was a used compressor anyways and everything is fine so far, should I be worried? Its not like I was trying to add freon to "fix" an issue without diagnostics, we knew what was wrong and fixed it and needed to recharge it after the fix. Thanks
