Just a question for RX

Picked up a script, asked if I wanted to use my safe pay, said yes. I also had 2 cards that she didn’t scan & said I had to go to FS for those. Ok no big deal, but could’ve sworn last time I had a couple extra items they scanned them without a problem. There was no line, just me and one other person. Is there a policy I need to know about? Don’t want to make anyone’s job more stressful than it already is. Thanks for any input.
