Rebirth update (?)

I did rebirth in the farewell mansion today and after entering the blue door my reagent fell into darkness for a moment and I heard «Tell me, friend, who is it you think you are?» from Easterman. After that there was a usual walking through the water and one of the endings segment. Unfortunately I don’t have any sort of recordings of that.

I’m not sure if something similar happens in communal rebirth, yet it’s still a neat idea in the spirit of game lore.
