Humbly asking for guidance
Hi! I'm already 23 years old, living with my mom here in Dubai, but I pay my own rent. My phone was confiscated and all my socials were in there, that's why I have a new reddit account. She went back to our home country for vacation and left me no money. I got laid off from work 2 weeks back and my stock of food is running low, and my previous company refused to pay me. I have my own visa, but my mother is planning to cancel it this month as she's so mad at me for not being able to pay back the expense she did for my visa. I am just starting here in Dubai.
I am humbly asking if you have any extra so I can top up my Nol Card for going to interviews, and walk ins. Gladly I have few friends here but they helped me so much that I'm ashamed to ask another help from them.
I am actively looking for a part time for the mean time so I can have cash right away to fend for myself but not getting anything so far. I have background in Customer Service for solid 3 years back in my home country, and have been a helpdesk/receptionist/telesales here in Dubai. I am lucky enough to be lent a tablet by my friend so I can apply through online, but is still awaiting for a positive feedback. I am sharing here as well, as I know in Dubai, connections gets you faster to secure a job.
Lastly, I am humbly asking if you have anything to spare so I can eat. I would appreciate it. I owe it to you all, and will make sure to pay it forward once I secured a stable job. Thank you.
