Peace of mind ultrasound at 7 weeks

So next weekend, July 10-12, I will be going on a family vacation where I was intending to tell my family members that I’m pregnant. However, my first ultrasound is not booked until July 22, and it’s making me a bit nervous that I will have absolutely zero confirmation of a healthy pregnancy before telling my family. How do we feel about going to an elective imaging center for the first ultrasound just to get peace of mind? I’ve heard really mixed things online. However, I will say everyone in this area that I live in raves about this place and how amazing they are. Should I just do it or should I wait till my actual ultrasound and my OB’s office on the 22nd? TIA
