Sick of spending all my $ on waxing - time to do laser

I’m of North Indian descent (brown skin but on the lighter side) and I rely on waxing — mostly because I tried laser on my face in the past and it didn’t work. But I caaaan’t keep spending $200+ a month on waxing my body.

My other qualm with switching to laser is that I’ll have to start shaving in between sessions. My hair follicles are thick so shaving doesn’t do me justice.

I’m frustrated. Anyone with a similar experience switch to laser hair removal? If so, please let me know where you went! Down to travel to LI.
