Help! Colonscopy- do I stop PPi?

Has anyone ever had a colonoscopy and on a PpI I have been on Pentazol 40mg x 2 times a day to help

Should I stop it before the colonscopy?

The reception said to stay on it but I am thinking it keeps the H Pylori at bay - weakened - so they won’t see the ulcer they create and blood in stool from them !

Anyway thanks for any guidance
