Rayon embroidery thread

So, it's awful. It gets fuzzy with any amount of friction. It tangles and twists like crazy. It doesn't separate properly, and it's only 5 strands. It snaps from abrasion. I bought it not realizing it wasn't cotton, and I hate it with the fire of a 1000 suns. I have no idea what it's good for. If they wanted to experiment with different fibres, how about linen?
