new beta tank

I’ve decided i’m going to create a beta tank and i want to make sure i do it right. Is there specific plants betas like a lot or that are just good for scaping? What lights should i have for the tank and what tank size, also what type of substrate do betas like idk if they would prevel gravel or sand. How much enrichment would my beta need?
