The 80/20 rule completely changed how I create content
Most creators spend almost all of their time creating.
Very little time promoting.
I used to do the same thing.
Now I try to follow this principle:
20% creating.
80% distributing and engaging.
That means:
Answering comments.
Posting in relevant communities.
Updating old content.
Sharing insights in different formats.
Learning from audience feedback.
Creating is important.
But distribution is what gives great content a chance to be discovered.
The internet is full of amazing content that nobody ever sees.
Question: Do you spend more time creating or promoting?
