I'm sick of the loot changes

At this point I'm genuinely starting to ask myself what's even the point of exploration. Good weapons are locked behind story and don't even start to explore e.g. forests later than the progression curve as there will not be any cool item. Stat potions? Also slowly disappearing.

Genuinely It just baffles me. I'm not even planning on doing another run in the next weeks but it just sets such a bad precedent for g2r.
