Ux issues

I noticed there are several UX issues, especially with the user flows and some technical aspects. Since I'm building my portfolio and want to work on real-world projects, what should I do with those problems?

Should I actually try to solve them in my redesign, or is it enough to identify them, explain why they're problems, and propose solutions? As a UI/UX designer, what's my role in a case study like this?
