B class Honda City E drivers, what's your driving style in this thing?

I drive an Integra in B class and recently built a City E to see why it's so fast - except I don't seem to have pace in it. I think there's something in my driving style that fits the integra but makes me slow in the City E.

City E drivers, how do you approach cornering in this thing? In the Integra I can brake lightly in a straight line, dive bomb the corner while lifting, then hammer the power on corner exit, and that being fast makes sense to me, but I'm not sure how to extract pace in the City E
